Slice of Life: Day 14 - Now I'm Hooked! #SOL22 #TWTBlog

I resisted it.  I’m not sure why.  I read about it. I watched kids play in classrooms.  My friends and family played. I continued to resist.  Maybe because it is online.  I don’t need to spend any more time in front of my computer.  I don’t like starting my day in front of a screen. I don’t need to add anything to my daily routine.

This week I am living with eight people who are playing.  I am watching them engage.  I am hearing the conversations.  This thing seems to have multiple generations excited about words.  I love words.  This thing has people talking about words.  I love words.  This thing is celebrating the beauty of language.

I wake up early.  The house is quiet.  I pour a hot cup of coffee.  I reach for my book but grab my computer instead. 

Day 2 … I think I may be hooked!
