Slice of Life: Good Luck or Good Decision? #SOL21
Arms can’t pick up, still lucky.
Last March, I wrote about six-word stories. These became a dinner-time ritual for my family unexpectedly reunited and a soft-start to many zoom meetings with students. I haven’t thought about them since last spring … until today. Snowshoeing across a lake in the wind with two broken arms and finding this … I choose to see it as a sign of good luck! Since this is the scene of the incident that caused the two broken arms … I did not try to pick it up! Sometimes good luck comes in the form of good decisions.
